Twilight and the Midnight Sun

I am not a big fan of the Twilight series or as I like to call it “Twatlight”. I tried reading Twilight, but was unable to spark an interest in Stephanie Meyer’s writing. After seeing the first Twilight movie, I still had no desire to read or watch anything related to Twilight. When New Moon came out in theaters I had no intentions to see the movie, but my fiance being the Twilight fan he is demanded we see it. I was not happy about this decision, but said I would go and see it as long as I did not watch it sober. I grabbed a bottle of wine, stuck it in my purse and we headed to the theater. I will be completely honest, by no means was I sober, but I absolutely loved New Moon. Not for hottie tottie Jacob a.k.a Taylor Lautner, who helped to keep my eyes on the screen at all times, but the story it self was very appealing. I loved the action, storyline, and everything that had to do with Twilight. After watching the movie I found myself becoming a crazed teenie bopper shouting “Team Edward”. Hard to believe since Jacob was the reason I couldn’t keep my eyes off the screen, but I consider myself an Edward fan all the way.

After hearing much talk about these books, and seeing the movies, I am sad to say that I have decided to read the Twilight series. New Moon partially has something to do with my new feelings, but when I was reading The Official Website of Stephanie Meyer I became really interested in the books. Stephanie Meyer talks about the fifth book called Midnight Sun which was leaked on the internet. This book is Edward’s version of Twilight and is told in his point of view. She will not be finishing the novel, but has the 12 original chapters, which were leaked, on her website. Skimming through these chapters makes me want to begin reading the Twilight Saga which I will begin to do shortly.
