The Tiwlight Saga

The Twilight Saga has begone and I am absolutely loving it! I have not been able to put the books down. I’ve gone from one book straight to the next. This is not your normal love story or even vampire story. I flew through Twilight and have mixed feelings about Stephanie Meyer’s writing. I do love the story and the way she tells it, but I don’t really care for all the dialogue. Its exhausting to read so much dialogue. I prefer books that have more of a description rather than conversations between characters. What I do like about Meyer’s writing is how she makes the reader feel. She puts so much emotion into the relationships, especially between Bella and Edward. It makes me yearn for the love they share for one another and wonder if a love like theirs even exists.

I am currently reading New Moon and again I am unable to put the book down. I hate that Edward has left Bella and wish he would come back (A.S.A.P.)! I like how Jacob has filled the hole for Bella and gets her out of her misery. I hate seeing her so sad, but I don’t like him for her. I actually feel bad for him. The way he feels for Bella, but knowing she could never feel the same about him and he puts up with it. How can you love someone so much knowing they will never feel the same way about you. Bella needs to keep leading him on as if they will be something more, and as a reader I know it will never happen. I understand her pain and the void she is trying to fill, but what Edward did to her is exactly what she is doing to Jacob.

I have a few more chapters to read and can’t wait for the ending of New Moon and the saga. I am excited to see whats to come in both of Bella’s relationships.
