Summer Movie Season Is Almost Here!

So it’s been a while since I’ve had a post, and to be honest, there hasn’t been anything that exciting movie-wise that merit’s a post…but all that changes this weekend.  That’s right, summer movie season is arriving in style with “Iron Man 2,” which is almost guaranteed NOT to disappoint.

For those of you who haven’t seen the first movie in the franchise,  YOU MUST WATCH IT THIS WEEK!  It’s a great comic book-to-movie adventure with a storyline that is not only authentic, but real enough to make it in today’s society.  It revolves around the smart and witty entrepreneur/inventor Tony Stark, played by Mr. Robert Downey Jr., who uses his intellect to design a suit that allows him to reign as a super hero.  Much like the character of Bruce Wayne in the “Batman” universe, Tony Stark is a normal human being with no real super powers.  He’s abnormally smart, yes, but not “Super Smart” or anything.  This is one of the many reasons this character is so appealing, because any average person could basically be Iron Man…no mutations, no spider bites, no chemical spills…just an advanced piece of equipment in the form of a suit.

Now the story line is a lot to explain, so all I can say is WATCH “IRON MAN” THIS WEEK, so you are prepared to see the “Iron Man 2″ this weekend.  For those of you who are hesitant to see it, which I will say right now is crazy, I will be blogging on it next weekend after I watch it myself…and I will see this at least twice, for sure….so check back in for my take on “Iron Man 2″ and see whether or not you should or shouldn’t see it.  Again, foreshadowing here, but I think it’s safe to say you SHOULD see it…
